The subsidized youth loan in Serbia represents one of the most significant state measures supporting the purchase of a first property. The program is intended for young people aged 20 to 35 and is designed to provide easier access to housing loans with a minimal down payment and a more favorable interest rate during the initial repayment period. Amid rising property prices and stricter banking criteria, this financing model offers young people a real chance to acquire their first apartment or house under significantly more favorable conditions than with standard commercial loans. The state has allocated a budget of 400 million euros for the program's implementation, enabling the financing of approximately 5,500 property purchases. Interest is high, and the number of applications is continuously growing, making timely action important.
